Doors open at 7 p.m., and live music — with local jazz bands! — begins at 8 p.m. Kick back and relax to the sounds of Stan Kessler and Mistura Fina while enjoying a delicious menu designed for your dining pleasure by Chef Renee and a glass (or many) of local wine from Somerset.

“Best Event Designers and Resources” Published

Panache Partners, a publishing company that specializes in coffee table books about travel, design, building, golf, etc., found its way to the Midwest. Wanting to include the “best event designers and resources” in the Kansas City area in a book called “Art of Celebration,” which provides popular local resources for throwing a gala, anything from birthday and holiday parties to weddings and fashion shows.

The launch party for the “Art of Celebration Chicago & the Greater Midwest” was held at Studio Dan Meiners on West Pennway last night from 6-8 p.m. Honorees included Harvest Productions, Bennett Schneider Paper Company, Lon Lane’s Inspired Occasions, Studio Dan Meiners, Christopher Elbow Artisanal Chocolates, Ellyn Bold Event Designer and Renée Kelly’s at Caenen Castle. Each company provided its own specialty at the party.
