For the last four months, commercial photographer Chad Jackson has been working behind the scenes with Designer Consignment Furniture & Interiors to produce a new design magazine focused exclusively on consignment furnishings and decor. They are excited to announce the launch of this new e-Magazine, Consignment Concepts.

This simple and fun design magazine began as an idea in Jackson’s mind after flipping through the pages of several popular furniture catalogs. Since he is an architectural and interior photographer, the first thought in his mind at the time was, “Why can’t we do one of these catalogs for DC?” However, Jackson wanted to produce something more than just another catalog. Since Designer Consignment is purely a consignment store, he knew that they had a very unique approach to their business.

With the help of Ginger Jackson, decorator/designer at Designer Consignment, they began looking at different ways to approach this idea, concluding that they could build the whole magazine around the concept of designing with one-of-a-kind consignment pieces. Ginger does an amazing job of taking one item as a design focal point and building an entire vignette around that centerpiece, which is the whole premise behind the new e-Magazine, Consignment Concepts.
